Mail. What to do?

"Oh yes, wait a minute Mr. Postman!" We've been asked many times what we do with our mail, I asked the same question at one point! I'm sure things were so much easier back in 1961 with mail when postage was 4 cents and the Marvelettes were rocking their catchy tune Mr. Postman, however in 2012, things are pretty easy too on the mail front, if you can believe it. I did some research and found a mail service that got horrible reviews, I thought it was our last resort until our friends on Osprey, told us about Dockside Solutions.  What a life saver!

Dockside Solutions is owned and operated by Angela. It is a personalized mail service for travelers and a BBB accredited business will great reviews on Yelp.com.  She makes everything so easy!! We paid an upfront annual fee of ~$279 and voila - each piece of our first class mail is scanned and ready for our viewing pleasure. We view our mail in a Dropbox folder when we can,  save it off, have it forwarded and/or shredded. Angela's services are awesome - she deposits checks, is available via email, is super responsive and does much more. She has many clients who cruise and travel and also lives on a sailboat herself at Shilshole Marina in Seattle.

If you ever want to go out of the country for an extended period of time, look into Dockside Solutions. It is worth every penny!

At one point, while emailing with Angela about forwarding our mail, I had mentioned how annoyingly greasy sunblock can be and how that was my latest mission, to find a good non-greasy sunblock. She replied 'I would love to have the problem of wearing sunblock and shorts every day!".  Definitely puts things in perspective especially with all the rain going on in Seattle right now!! lol. My latest find is Banana Boat Sport - non-greasy formula. :) Yes, I know, rough life....
